SEARHC Juneau Dental Clinic

I have been into SEARHC Dental to see Dr. Birk 2-tines, so far... First Exam, Second Root Canal... What a wonderful experience I had both times... I was so very nervous for my Root Canal, however, NO Pain at all, just a little pinch during the numbing process..I was relieved ... Dr. Birk and Assistant explain all of the different steps prior to and during the dental process..... At least we patients know what to expect from the procedure ...Thanks to all, from Appointment Specialist, Customer Service, Assistant Technician and Doctor Burk for all of there help and professionalisn .

Impossible to get an apt less than 8 months out. Impossible to get a call back. Extremely high turn over.

Updated 2024.08.10 A not for profit health care facility for your health needs, in this case, dental care. They are really busy, appointments are a couple of months away. Currently appointments are Monday through Friday 0730-1700, last appointment booking is 1600. The children's clinic is on the first floor, and the adult clinic with an elevator for access is on the second floor.

Best dental clinic I have been to while using TriCare active duty dental program. Staff was professional and friendly. They worked with my schedule to get me in for treatment on the same day as my cleaning. What a relief to finally get my fillings done. I'm glad the Coasties recommended this place and that the insurance was pain free. I also used the free shuttle twice, which got me back to work and to the clinic. Call 24 hrs in advance for pick ups from places other than the clinic.

I live in a Rural area and my girlfriend and I came into town for only a few days, as new patients. Everyone who attended to us was professional and helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs given that we hadn't been to a dentist in so long. Big thanks to Lisa for spending hours hand scaling our plaque-y teeth for us! We learned, we felt cared for, and we'll be back!
