My Doctor is Dr Haddick the staff are outstanding. First major concerns are if your a Veteran that rely on the VA to cover your medical expense forget about going here. There billing have issues dealing with the VA. Because the VA takes longer to pay. It's too bad. Second is like every Doctor office in Juneau. The nurse are overwhelmed. If you need to contact them via phone or online messaging. Follow up. Don't wait expecting a call back. But as far medical expertise, it's one of the best family physicans in Juneau.

I switched to family practice after being treated fairly poorly by my last doctors office. DR.Dooley is my doctor now and she rocks it. It's nice to finally have a doctor that actually cares about her patients. Seems rare these days. Most doctors don't care and just want to get the appointment over with or accuse people of being on drugs which is my biggest frustration with doctors these days. Also shout out to dr Abby Cummings. So sweet and considerate. This practice chose great doctors.

I felt that my doctor could have been more transparent about the services they were providing and the associated costs. Insurance covers an annual check up. I hadn't been to the doctor this year and went when I wanted to have something looked at. They billed me at a different level that wasn't covered and told me that if I hadn't specified I had a concern prior to the appointment, it would have been billed as a check up but treated the same. They also charged me for a flu shot that I could have got for free two blocks away. I guess the lesson here is always ask "how much?" Because, Family Practice Physicians is always trying to run up your tab.

Made an appointment to get a medicine check and was specifically told that the nurse practitioner could prescribe my medication. Went in and the NP told me she couldn't prescribe my medication and that the person who made my appointment should have known that. Received no other services and was charged over $200.

Wendy Smith is by far the best "doctor" I ever had (even if she is a PA). Staff is always nice. So is lab. 4 stars is because sometimes there is some confusion when trying to get messages to her or getting my meds filled and I do not like having to tell people other than Wendy or her assistant why I need to see her or talk to her (especially the answering service).
