After a blood test I discovered I high cholesterol. I was perscribed Lipator, but no suggestion in changing my diet or exercise, just take a pill. I adressed the this with my doctor and was told Lipator is what I need. Concerns for the patiant is second to pharmaceuticals. Lipator is natoriasly bad for the liver espesialy if the patiant has had liver issues before. I have not been asked to take a liver test after the prescription. With the providence heart institute I need to make sure they do their job. I am looking for a better doctor and someone other than Providence Heart institute.

Providence performed an electrocardiogram for me. They couldn't find the normal person who did it, pulled in someone from another department, the leads kept falling off, and the end result was unusable by my doctor. I had to have a second test run at a different facility. Prov finally knocked $100 off my bill after I complained. Avoid this place like the plague.

Dr. Ireland's staff is incabable of scheduling an aptment for a follow up visit. After I have received two letters from Dr Ireland for a follow up appointment. I will find another cardiologist.
