Dr. Edward A. Carraway, MD

My mother's first appointment with Dr. Carraway was very disappointing. This was after two, already rescheduled appointments. We waited over two hours past her scheduled time with no communication from staff. Once we finally saw him, the visit was rushed and dismissive--he repeatedly interrupted my mother, and did not giver her time to respond. While the medical assistant, Justin, was kind and professional, Dr. Carraway's bedside manner was arrogant and unhelpful. Patients deserve respect, clear communication, and compassionate care, especially when dealing with heart issues. We will be seeking a different cardiologist.

i had a heart attack in sept 2018 and i went to DCH at 1;30 at night told them i had indigwstion and heartburn but er docter told me otherwise. He callled in Ed Carraway and we spoke and at 2 am he said as soon as his team of nurses got here we would go to the cath lab, I went in and had stents put in and was back in a room by 4am have not had any problems and appreciate Dr. Carraway for saving my life

My mother had the worst experience with this doctor. He was rude and inconsiderate. He was upset with her because she refused a test he had told her nothing about. She drove up by herself and didn't want to have any invasive procedures done. He was angry and demanded to know why she wouldn't take the test. He answered the rest of her questions with a rude and short tone. She will not be returning to his office.

I have been a cardiac patient of Dr. Carraway's for 3 years now. He diagnosed my Afib which probably saved my life a few years ago. He has been very caring, patient and kind. I always trust that Dr Carraway is always looking out for my best interest. Ed Freeman

Great caring doctor and very good. Very knowledgeable. Very caring. He knows the latest treatments. I am blessed for him to be my Cardiologist!!
