My experience at DCH -TUSCALOOSA,Medical Tower was a pleasant one. All the people in the Imagining Department were so nice and friendly. They made me feel at ease & very comfortable during my time there. The lady (I can't recall her name) that did my ultrasound on my carotid artery was so assuring and even told me that my primary doctor would most likely have my results by Monday. My wait was minimal and once I got to the back my MRI on my brain was done in 20 minutes. I waited maybe 5 minutes & a lady came the door she was there to do my ultrasound , in there for about 20 minutes and she told me I was free to go & all my test were done. Would recommend the department to anyone I know. Great experience!!!! %!!!

I had a what turned to be a not so critical moment that sent me to the DCH ER. From the minute I entered to the time I was discharged; I have nothing but 5 stars for the staff. Treated with a smile and concern during every reaction. Questions answered and comfort given. Thanks to the ER staff for their care. Will and Tara (RNs) took great care while Dr. Crawford ran the tests. He answered my questions and explained the results. When I got to my room. My RN and PCA helped me settle in and get comfortable. Appreciate DCH and the staff so very much.

I had a procedure performed at DCHR Oon 12/11/25. The staff in the Cardiology Cath Lab were professional, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive to my needs and concerns. They all worked well together in performing their duties and answering and explaining any questions I asked. I walked in a little nervous and apprehensive about what to expect but once I interacted with the staff I became comfortable that all would be well. Thank you to Kylie , Angie, Cal, Brandon, Kelli, Carrie, Allison, Michael F, Britney, Denise. Chloe, Wendy, Dann and Sydney for the amazing professionals that took care of me during my visit. I am grateful for all of you. Thank you..

We have been to DCH Northport and Regional multiple times over the last 18 months. The hospital had a D evaluation last year and earned every that or an F. This year they got a B rating but that is definitely over rated. Let's be clear here. The vast majority of the doctors, nurses, PCa and customer relations staff are outstanding. Their emergency rooms times are outrageous. First time 16 hours, second 4:37 min to see a doctor who was outstanding. They are plagued with traveling nurses on weekends who may do just the min. The lab staff do not have access to materials cabinet that per them could let them be successful drawing blood. Unless a nurse or lab tech tries three time unsuccessful they can't get someone else and nine times are required for sonic unit team. Structurally the A/C duct are breading grounds for bacteria and dust that causes elergic reactions. They do not have access to bedside pots and use bedpans and bed pads to collect waste. This cause patient to be immersed in waste with their hands and it is then thrown in the trash with general waste. Maintenance left florescent long tubs hanging over bed and computer. Surgery this time and last can not communicate anticipated surgery windows to nursing staff and thus patient. Most of this seems to stem from their matrix organization and anasthesiaology lack of communication. We need a strong emergency hospital. Attracting business for jobs to feed our growing community depend on it. Management needs to fix emergency surgery and structural problems with facility maintenance and floor avability to supplies and decision making.

Fantastic!! Couldn't have had a better group of nurses, Dr's and Staff!! It was a whirlwind of a 20hr stay but it was as pleasurable as it could have been for what I needed to have done. Truly, every person that I came in contact with helped and cared for me as if I was their own. If you have to go to the hospital and it happens to be Big DCH, ask for room 637, hopefully you'll get my caregivers. Roll Tide and Thank You DCH!!
