East Alabama Medical Center's invasive cardiology unit also performs diagnostic heart catheterizations, percutanious transluminal interventions and arteriograms. This unit implants permanent pacemakers, automatic implantable defibrillators, and biventricular automatic implantable defibrillators as well.
