If I could give Dr. Rihner 0 stars, I certainly would. My mother is 76 and is a patient of his. My mother is in stage 3 kidney disease. She looked up some of the medications he prescribed to her and noticed that they cause kidney damage. So she asked the good doctor about it. He told her he wasn't going to answer any of her questions because she didn't need him and proceeded to refer to her as Dr. He even had a student following him that day. Is that how they are teaching our future doctors? My mom has been in her body for seventy six years. She knows her body, anyone that age knows their bodies. On every visit he always orders lab work and a urine test. This time, because my mother specifically asked to be checked for a uti, he did not order the urine test. When my mom asked why, she was told that she didn't need it. How unbelievably unprofessional and arrogant of you Dr. Rihner. Maybe you should consider what would happen to you if my mother falls ill from a uti. How many other patients have you neglected? How many of your patients have you possibly been responsible for their deaths? My mom was afraid to tell me because she knew I would say something. Do you bully all of your patients? I WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Rihner to anyone that wants to live!

I've had very hbp for over a week, went to er 4 days ago. They told me to call my cardiologist, I did, can't get in for 1.5 wks. BP went to 202/99 )today, I went to his office & they wouldn't even check my BP nor get me in to see him. Called Dr Rihners (my sisters dr) office & told him what was going on. Now mind you, he's never seen me, but he got me right in & ran tests/gave meds to get BP down. I am thankful to find a dr who cares.

Dr. Rihner treated me like a VIP when I saw him. Staff is friendly from the receptionist to the nurses. My wait was less than 2 minutes. Dr. Rihner really seamed interested in my problem unlike a lot of other doctors. If you need a cardiologist, look no further

Great doctor, He is knowledgeable and caring. Takes his time with you, and has some great hardworking staff that also seem to really care about each patient. He treats patients like family
