Dr. Douglass grew up in Baldwin County and returned to the area in 2021 for the practice of cardiology. He is fellowship trained in Cardiovascular Disease and was chief fellow at Ochsner Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA where he also completed his residency in internal medicine, prior to his fellowship training. Dr. Douglass attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and has a masters degree in Theological Studies from Springhill College. He has board certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine and is Subspecialty Boarded in Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Douglass' practice focuses on clinical, preventive cardiology with and advanced diagnostic imaging.

The reception from all staff was friendly and welcoming. Wait time was minimal. In and out in one hour and it was first visit! Dr Douglass was prepared for my visit and knew my history with cardiology out of state. Very impressed with him and his fund of knowledge on current medical standards.
Dr. Douglass was very kind and personable. Fantastic bedside manner. I felt as though he took his time with me to make sure to answer all of my questions.
Dr Douglass was very thorough and helpful in explaining things. He didn't just zip in and zip out like most doctors are forced to do, I didn't feel rushed at all. I look forward to having him as my cardiologist. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
What I liked best, was the wait to see the doctor was short, not like other places. No one likes the wait in the front and in the back. Loved the interaction as well
After arriving 15 minutes early for their 15 minuter window. I can not give a proper rating. Since I never saw the Dr. After waiting over half an hour I was finally called then told it would be at least another 45 mins because of a medical emergency which I understanfd happens but I had to be somewhere by 4:30 and waiting for the Dr would have been waiting until after 5. If I was informed about the wait I could have resheceduled and not paid my co-pay.
