I am leaving this review for Dr. Mishra's OFFICE. Not Dr. Mishra himself. A note on Dr. Mishra: He is one of the most thorough and considerate physicians I have seen. Very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. Listens to what you say. This review is for his office staff at NAMC. Every single time I have had to speak with any of them, they have all been VERY rude, very dismissive, and their overall tone was as if I was the last thing in the world they wanted to be dealing with. I'm sorry, am i supposed to feel like a burden to my doctor?? My most recent experience went like this: Her: "I see you have a referral from your primary care doctor...." *pause* *heavy sigh* *In a very exasperated tone* "Ok, what EXACTLY do you have going on because he's got nothing open til January" So.... even though i had an emergency referral from my primary care doctor...this lady was going to make an executive decision based on my case???? Not even going to talk to Dr. Mishra? If his schedule was such an issue...why isn't she discussing it with HIM before calling me to book the appointment??? Every other interaction I have had with any of them has been like this, both on the phone and in person. They refuse to take messages for him, or talk to him, let alone let YOU talk to him. I don't know if they deal with annoying patients...but I DON'T CARE. YOU WORK IN HEALTHCARE. You are supposed to be KIND to people concerned about their health. Learn some patience. These are some of the most unkind people i have ever dealt with.
