Been using Dr Gwinn for 15 years and he is outstanding. I may have to use another cardiologist one day but they will have some high expectations to live up to.

Dr. Gwinn cares about his patients and is excellent in his field. Know that you are receiving the best care you could possibly have, even if you traveled a great distance!

I had a 2 o'clock appoint with Dr Gwinn. Arrived the appt. I had been just released from the Hospital I had the flu. They said call Gwinn to set up an appointment. A week later I went to the Enterpsise Office and checked in.After the basic test I was sent to a waiting area that was full. I was then sent to another waiting room. After 45 minutes I informed the receptionist I was leaving. There were people there waiting before lunch. I told the receptionist Dr Gwinn was fired. I left the building. A few days later I revived a certified letter from Dr Gwinn stating he would not see me again. I am getting another Dr to care for me. If you want a long time to wait, become his patient. He books too many patients as time. Some say he is great I do NOT think so. I will not recommend him to anyone!!

I recently visited Dr. Gwinn's office and was sorely aggravated with the staff. The front desk people were reasonably nice but not overly friendly or welcoming. The atmosphere in the office is not overly aesthetic. The nurse/person who called me back was dry dry and asking me questions before we reached the room. When we entered one person asked me questions while another asked me to lift my shirt performing an EKG on me while I sat up in a chair. The other fired questions at me so rapidly she could not possibly have documented the answers as provided. When they were done they excused me told me to return to the waiting room. Not one person who engaged me introduced themselves to me or alerted me to what they were doing just gave me directions. I was dreading the remainder of the evaluation until Dr. Gwinn walked into the room. I would endure the snottiness and the rushed nonchalant care for a physician such as Dr. Gwinn. He is not only beautiful to look upon but magnificently adorned with the best bedside manner I have encountered in a physician. He provided direct and clear plan of care and findings. Gave instructions for follow up care and advised on life style changes without insult. I would recommend Dr. Gwinn with the absolute highest regards. I am a RN for 30+ years and rarely have I encountered any better than him.....

I've been going over a yr. Had a heart attack in March of this year. Had to be transported to dothan flowers hospital. Dr. Gwinn never came to see me or was not there to put stents in. I called the office today cause my bp is flunctualating.. 152 and 175. Nurse called back about an HR later and said it was ok. Really?. They have not taken any blood work. Not very pleased. Will be changing dr.
