Dr. Wytch Rigger is a board-certified cardiologist with Baptist Health Medical Group in Birmingham, Alabama. Meeting went well. Early morning visits are great because I was taken a few minutes earlier and did not have to wait more than a minute for Dr. Rigget to come in. He went over my primary health issues in a lot of details and answered all my questions. He did not seem to be in a hurry and stayed with me until all questions had been satisfied. He seemed to care about me getting the best healthcare that he and CVA can provide.
This was our first visit with him since Dr Brock retired. He saw my mom and I at same time. We were pleased with him. He was very friendly with great bedside manner, he didn't rush our visit and gave us time to ask questions which he answered in a way we understood. Very happy to continue seeing him in future.
Dr Rigger has a caring spirit about him, which is rare in the medical field today. He is also thorough, reviewing all previous patient information to make good calls for ongoing treatment. If you are looking for a solid doctor who cares about his patients, Dr. Rigger is a great choice.
He literally saved my life. While doing that, he also found a mass on my chest that turned out to be cancer (lymphoma). I can't tell the whole story in this review, but because he wasn't satisfied with the answers we got from a traditional stress test, my LAD is no longer 90% blocked and I'm likely cured of my cancer. It's a crazy hard to believe story but is 100% true. I am forever grateful to him.
I was so impressed with Dr. Wytch Rigger's excellent patient care that I left my cardiologist to become his patient. I first met him while he was treating my father after a major procedure.
