About Dr. Raashid Ashraf, MD
Raashid Ashraf is a dynamic General and Invasive cardiologist bringing remarkable diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology skills to CVA. Raashid received a Science Degree at the Forman Christian College in Lahore Pakistan before completing his Medical Degree. He and his physician wife then immigrated to the United States where he completed his training at a number of renowned medical centers. Raashid was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Creighton University in Nebraska where he served as Chief Fellow.

He took the time to listen carefully, was empathetic to my concerns, and was even the first to explain why symptoms happened for certain activities but not others (likely because he took the time to understand).
