My husband, Jerry McMillan, and I could never give a review good enough for Dr. Matthew Sample. A few adjectives which apply to him as a doctor and person: Professional, Smart,, Kind, Caring, and experienced in his profession. He explains every step in layman's terms which makes one understand. At 90 years of age, we feel Dr. Sample has given Jerry more years to live a productive life. We are Christians and thank God every day for Dr. Sample and pray that God will continue to bless him in all he does. He has a wonderful staff as well.

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The NP that was in charge of gathering my info before seeing Dr.Sample was very attentive to my health history and friendly as well. However I wished I could say the same about the lady taking my vitals and doing my EKG. She said very few words to me and never offered any details of what she was about to do. Hopefully she was just having an off day but if you are going to have a job interacting with people, especially sick people please try to talk to them and act as if you care. I felt like she was just seeing how fast she could push me through to call the next patient. Thankfully I was only there for a check up but some people come in nervous and anxious with issues. They are in need of a friendly face.

Dr Sample is very nice and has great bedside manners. I was referred to him by my primary care doctor when I had a couple of abnormal EKG's.
Dr. Sample was able to quickly and effectively evaluate me. He takes time to explain the findings and was able to answer any questions I had.

Yesterday was my first time to see Dr Sample. The visit could not have been better. He came in the room, introduced himself and then reviewed my records. He asked me questions and then we discussed his treatment plan. I thought he was very thorough and did not rush through my visit. I would highly recommend Dr Sample if you are looking for a cardiologist.
