Salame Heart & Vascular Clinic

IF YOUR TIME IS IMPORTANT THEN DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC! I had an ECHO appt scheduled at the beginning of October. The week prior to the appt the office staff called to say they could not see me on my scheduled day and I would need to reschedule. However, the closest time they could give me was at the end of the month so I took it. I showed up on the scheduled day at the correct time. That is when the front desk person said "Oh, they should have let you know that one of our ECHO machines are down and we wont be able to see you today. But we can see you tomorrow, okay?" (No, I have already scheduled to be off work twice for this test. If I allow you to reschedule again that will be three times.) I should have been contacted prior to todays appt so I didn't waste my time driving from one county over to take this test. The front desk worker was very dismissive and did not offer an apology. VERY non-caring. Your time is NOT important to them. If this is how you want to be treated then this is your clinic!

I'm not happy with them at all I've seen Dr salame one time in three years. I have been waiting on an echo for three months now and I have to have hip replacement surgery but can't until I have the echo done they keep rescheduling me I'm very frustrated with his office.

They're not respectful of your time! They make you wait for one hour and a half to 2 hours. The two out of three front desk people were very rude and dismissive. I'm not sure how well the doctor performs because I canceled my appointment after waiting an hour and 40 minutes, I should've just followed my mind and drove to UAB in Birmingham. Never again!

I have received excellent care for the past 3 years since being referred to Dr. Saleme. In fact, I have been under the care of Kristen Prater. She is his assistant. I can not sing her praises enough. I would recommend this office 100%.
