Third Coast Vascular (TCV Centers) is founded on the principle of excellence in vascular medicine, wound care, and cardiology. Serving Sheboygan, WI, our mission is to prevent amputations, heal complex wounds, and restore mobility. Our specialists provide minimally invasive therapies for peripheral artery disease, venous disease, and non-healing wounds. Services include sclerotherapy, varicose vein treatment, embolization procedures such as BPH treatment, GAE treatment, and UFE treatment, dialysis access, lymphedema treatment, and kyphoplasty. I had varicose vein surgery a year ago and justly recently had my one year follow up appointment. The nursing staff deserves 5 stars--they were consistently kind, attentive, and professional from check-in through follow-up. Unfortunately, while the procedure itself went smoothly, I now have permanent numbness in my leg and lasting skin discoloration where the veins were treated. I was informed these side effects will not improve and nothing can be done. While I understand every surgery carries risks, I wish I'd been more informed for the possibility of a permanent change in sensation and appearance. Overall, I'm grateful for the compassionate care I received from the nurses and support staff. Just be aware that, in my case, the outcome included ongoing numbness and discoloration that I can't reverse.
