I have been dealing with some medical issues for over a week. The first hospital I went to didn't give me any medical updates, like how to make myself feel better or anything. Went on to aurora to get a second opinion, and was instantly treated with the most polite and knowledgeable staff I've ever dealt with. The way the staff carried a sense of pride with lots of respect for the patients was an amazing experience itself. I've had surgeries and procedures at multiple hospitals. Aurora was the best experience from a hospital that I've ever had. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Once again the staff was amazing and Im so blessed for the positive feed back on my situation.

Came in for laryngeal swelling from HAE and was admitted to ICU. First off, I commend the nurses, they were great. The negative rating is from this absolute biohazard oximeter. Even worse, they brought in a replacement that was just as filthy. Pay attention! This is how infections are spread, I washed my hands 5 times and used half a bottle of hand sanitizer and still felt contaminated.

I'm not sure why people work in healthcare if they have zero compassion let alone feel the need to poke fun at people and be rude. I'm currently sitting and waiting in the physical therapy area waiting for my son's appointment to be done and another patient came to the desk to ask the lady behind number 1 for an after visit summary in which she rudely snaps back that they don't have those. There was a little more dialogue between the 2, but when he left the lady behind number 1 looked at the lady behind number 2 and made fun of his questions and they laughed at him. Ridiculous disgusting behavior she ought to be ashamed of herself both of them. No need for that. Maybe need to train your employees on ethics at least since I know they don't have any compassion.

I don't even want to put a single star. I developed influenza A on the 14th and came back in today due to EXTREMELY SEVERE stomach pain. I sat and waited in the ER for twenty minutes, and decided to go to Ascension instead. I was writhing in pain. When I came back, the nurse scolded my partner and I for leaving. I was able to get an IV and multiple medications. I slept so well, and I felt so much better. They then asked for a urine sample, and I waited for 40 minutes to even hear about it. By that time? I was already writhing in pain again. I will NEVER GO BACK HERE. the service I received was poor. The best time I felt was when I had an IV, once that was gone, it came back. I felt like nobody here cared for me. The nurse just wanted to scold me.

I went here for therapy about a two years ago, with Dr.Morales, and all she did was make me take an online quiz. She immediately diagnosed me with a depression medication when what I needed was something for my anxiety (proven by a real therapist). I vocally told the her that and she said it would treat both. It didn't. I quit going and taking the Prozac they prescribed me. Months later, clearly after them failing to properly diagnose me, I needed my stitches removed. Lo and behold, the same doctor that prescribed me medication based off of an online quiz , was in charge of removing my stitches. Which she forgot a few as well, and also made me hold the light for the removal and constantly reminded me to keep the light straight (this was my first time ever having stitches and I was scared). Dr.Morales. I'm sure I spelt it wrong, but if you pronounce it correctly you will know. Either way, they do not care about you in any way. My wound also got infected after she removed the stitches and she continued to ignore my prodding on it possibly being infected. It was infected, and I needed 12 days of steroids to clear it up (from a proper hospital). If you are considering this hospital for mental health or physical, either way, the same poor people will be in charge of you, and they will mess it up. Save yourself some time and drive hours away over having to deal with the bull crap this hospital made me go through. Dr.Morales was not kind during the stitch removal and made me feel bad about not holding the light in the proper way. After going to a different hospital I realized that this is not how anyone should ever be treated.
