Dr. Salim M. Shammo, MD

my mother-in-law debbie krajnak has dr. shammo and loves him dearly. he saved her life in 2006 after another cardiologist she had been seeing for years had refused her a cardiac cath after she had to take an ambulance ride to st. lukes. the other dr. told her not to worry because her mom didn' need six by passes until she was 60 and debra still had 10 years to go. what kind of reasoning is that. debra then went to see her pulmonologist dr. matthew Mathei and asked for a cardiologist he would like to work with. dr shammo asked if anyone ever suggested a cardiacc cath and i was ready to ring the other cardiologists neck. when dr. shammo did the test it showed a 95% blockage . I thanked him for believing me and he said it had nothing to do with believing me it was all in my medical history. i owe my life to Dr. Shammo and Dr. Mathei. they are the best and i would rate them with a 10 and keep referring them to my friends.

Be careful I went to this doctor for a check up so he decided to do a stress test for me so i did I walked fine so he told me oh the ekg changed on me twice so he decided to do catheterization at Aurora medical center going through my wrist and he said he found two of them 70% blockage and he failed he couldn't do it he abandoned the procedure he said he will go through my groin he did two months later and supposedly he fixed it never showed me any photos of it and asked me after the procedure are you having any pain I said yes and he ordered a very high dose blood thinner medicine Iv for 24 hours but less than six months later I had lot's of pain by than he moved working for Froedtert Hospital so he asked me to go there for another stress test by another doctor how found a blockage so they decide to do a procedure to fix it the new doctor he went through my wrist and put 4 more stents in the same area where that doctor supposedly did it who couldn't do it through my wrist so Iam living with 6 stents destroyed my life if you care about your life find a different doctor someone knows what he is doing for his good reviews I don't believe it look at the dates on it maybe done intentionally

My grandmothers appointment was for 115 and this other lady came in after and her appointment was for 130 and they got to go ahead of her when my grandmother is sitting back there for 30 mins and she is diabetic

He cares and actually gives time to listen to him he is awesome
