About Dr. Tina Potokar, PA
After working as an athletic trainer for more than five years, I chose to make the transition to become a physician assistant. This role allows me to work with patients in preventing injury and illness while continuing to use the knowledge and skills I acquired as a trainer. Patients describe me as empathetic, easy to get along with and prompt. I feel it's important to be a good listener and take the time to discuss questions and concerns with patients. The best part of this job is the interaction I have with so many different people and the variety of opportunities to help others that come with each new day.

I was very nervous going to a new PA, but Tina was awesome! She listened to everything I had to say, didn't make me feel rushed at all, and she answered every question I had. Suggestions were made to me and an X-ray was done before I left! Everyone in the place was kind, efficient and got me in and out in no time. I was very pleased with my visit and will return to see Tina again. Kudos to all of the staff I came in contact with also!!

If you like to see someone who listens to your problems then passes everything on to other doctors and specialists- she's the person for you. I experienced this twice. Good note taker, but don't expect any actual health care.
