Dr Kostopolous is amazing! His bedside manner is excellent. My mom switched to him probably six or seven years ago, and thank goodness she did! Or she may not be here. Her past cardiologist kept watching her mitral valve disease get worse, but never did anything. Dr. Kostopolous gave us options to consider, including a referral for possible surgery. She underwent the surgery, and it was scary, but she made it out okay and has done very well. She had another issue about two years ago, and he helped manage that, and her heart function is doing very well again. Although he is very busy, he does take the extra minute to ask about my father, who also sees him.
