Advocate MD Direct Primary Care

I highly recommend advocate! My whole family sees Dr. Aughey and we have never had a negative experience. He actually takes the time to listen to his patients and gets to the root of the problem. I have also seen Dr Shulman who is equally as wonderful. I don't think I could ever go back to the traditional clinics that rush you in and out! We love advocate!

Great experience at Advocate MD! Brought my daughter in for a wart removal treatment when I couldn't get a timely appointment through my insurance. Everything went smoothly and was top notch. Would highly recommend.

One of the worst experiences I've had with a health care professional. It's very obvious that Dr. Hemkes is not only extremely wet behind the ears, but also lacks any common sense. My life is worse for having come here, both financially and mentally. I WAS a patient there one time. The doctor trapped me in her office for 2 hours and then told me I was having a heart attack. Go to a REAL doctor this place is a sham. If I had listened to what this woman told me to do. I would've had to foot the bill for multiple ambulance rides. Emergency room visits, bloodwork the whole nine yards. Luckily I had enough common sense for both of us and saved myself from all of that. You'd think a doctor would be able to tell if someone is currently suffering a heart attack to some degree. BTW my heart is fine, I had some indigestion!

I got tired of been rushed off during the usually very hard to set appointments with my primary physician with one of the most common and traditional health services in WI. Fortunately my wife's employer gave her the option to use this practice for her medical needs. She is absolutely delighted with the kind of service and attention she receives from them so, she strongly recommended it to me. I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Karen Shulman and I cannot strength enough how good it was. Simply put, it was a wonderful experience. It had been a long time since the last time I had seen a doctor that listened, paid attention, did not rush the appointment and demonstrated a real concern for me both, as a patient and as a human being. She patiently and attentively listened to me for as long as I wanted to. She immediately took action in all the issues that needed something to be done. Just a few hours after the visit, I received an email email directly from her with a complete and comprehensive summary of the visit. I had received quick responses whenever I have contacted her. No need to say that I strongly and without any reservation recommend Advocate MD DPC.

Dr. Karen Shulman is absolutely incredible. I have never had a doctor listen to me and get to know me the way she has. I feel so safe and heard at Advocate MD. Additionally, they are affordable and super transparent about every cost associated with your care. I truly cannot recommend this place enough.
