Can't get past RN gatekeeper to communicate with cardiologist or her NP's. Dr. Told me at her office visit to contact her via NP's who she has worked with for years, they know her treatment plans and she trusts them. Takes 48 hours to get partial responses from MyChart messages. Does not respond to call back requests to either pharmacist at a/c clinic or Reedsburg Hosp. lab, where I was to have had blood draws done. First time order waiting from me. Labs drawn on Friday. Abnormal lab results received by ssmhc mid-afternoon, Fri. But, not read til late morning Mon. Second time, RN stated, via my chart, np wanted another lab draw, this Fri because I had been started on increased dose of lasix. lab called cardiology requesting call back with order for lab work. Hosp lab still has not had a call back ,- it's Mon, noon. I was told at one point by RN that I could always go to ER. I am sick of the miscommunication with cardio staff. I am to finally have cardioversion on Thursday. Cardio scheduler does a great job. Professional. Has answers to questions. Accommodating as possible, within her limitations. Ssmhc staff has always professionally, safely & competently provided care for my cardioversions in the past. Dr who is assigned for this procedure is also very competent. These groups I trust with 5 on a scale of one to five, by best best, one least. Office staff gets a one!!
