About Dr. Erin Davis, MD
Dr. Davis is board certified in general internal medicine. In addition to primary care, Dr. Davis sees patients at the Knee and Hip Comprehensive Non-Surgical Osteoarthritis Management Clinic at UW Health at the American Center. The non-surgical osteoarthritis clinic manages adult patient with knee or hip osteoarthritis including using physical activity, weight management, medications, and injections to manage the symptoms of arthritis.

This was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through and I couldn't have felt more gaslit by her. I had never had medical anxiety until this experience. In Dec 2018 I started experiencing ALL the symptoms of gallbladder failure. Intense heartburn, pain after eating, sides on fire, yellowing eyes, rapid weight-loss. I was seen 17 times between urgent care and her office. I had an endoscopy, CT scan, endless blood draws, etc. every time I saw her I got emotional because I thought today would be the day we would figure out what's wrong with me. And they used my emotional state against me. Instead of really trying to figure what was going on out, she told me I was 24, young and otherwise healthy and offered me anti depressants. I even saw her NP once when she wasn't able to see me and her NP literally handed me tissues and asked me about my current mental state lol. What a joke. I finally had had enough. I advocated for myself and demanded a HIDA scan which showed total gallbladder failure. That's the only reason I gave 2 stars. Without that test being ordered idk where I would be today. Even with the test results and my two months of struggle and weight loss, she said I had to see a gastroenterologist first and those are specialists who take forever to get into! I called one everyday until I got in. The gastro saw me for TEN MINUTES and said yep, surgery. Got it removed and I have had zero issues since. Now, whenever I go to a doctor I tell them this story and say if they aren't going to take me serious, I am leaving. How sad is that. I never had medical anxiety until this happened. I finally got the courage to leave a review. Moral of the story, it doesn't matter your age, don't let anyone gaslight you about your health. You know your body best, fight for your health.
