Why does this amazing hospital only have 2.7 stars??? I had 2 surgeries here and both experiences were amazing. From check in to leaving every single person was super friendly and helpful, and they put your comfort first. If it were possible I'd give it ten stars. Their check in staff was friendly, we were laughing and having fun, the nurses are wonderful and attentive, the anesthesiologist was amazing, and both surgeons were so wonderful I am going to leave them their own individual reviews. If you go to Mercy, you are in very good hands.

Sadly the worst hospital in the area. ER check in was extremely rude and unhelpful. The ER Dr Runde was rude when we asked to reexplain the plan with my mother. He belittled us when he said as I already stated the plan is this. Zero compassion. The er desk stated they need to keep the nursing staff happy but are not too worried about patients and family. Do not go here.

My stay on the 3rd floor was great. I'd like to thank Dr Kent my Savior and jaqui, and talasia to name a few. They helped me with no complaints, went out of their way to make sure my needs were met. There were others but I'm bad with names. Jaqui you gave me hope that things will get better. Talasia you did your job and then some. You all made me smile and laugh when at times Ive wanted to cry from the pain. To the CNA that was training, you did great and was compassionate. THANK YOU!!!!!

2) hysterectomy
3) stint for heart attack
I feel fine and appreciate all the kind considerate staff. I had to bring my daughter here a few times in the past and recently and everyone was so patient and kind. This is the kind of stuff that healing is made of.

This is based on my one and only experience at this facility. The staff, nurses, and doctors in the ER and ICU have been outstanding in caring for my brother during his severe medical situation. They were as caring, kind, informative, professional as I have ever seen. Not only did they focus on his emergency needs, but made sure we, his family and friends had anything we needed. Form coffee and water, a room to sit, wait, and and be away from the daily chaos a hospital can provide, to giving constant updates, information and answering any and all of our concerns and questions. Couldn't begin to thank them enough for what they have done. I found facility itself to be very clean, although the floor plan is a bit confusing when trying to navigate the different floors.
