I told this doctor that I was very weak & could do almost nothing. She acknowledged that my situation was serious & that surgery was my only option. But her conclusion was that I could wait six months then redo the test even though the original report clearly showed serious obstruction & damage. She also had a previous test result to compare from about 6 yrs. ago. This is a worsening aortic valve obstruction. I am 69; why would she delay my urgent care? I've had several episodes since my visit 5 days ago where I thought I could die. But she is on a 2 week vacation & can not be reached. I am going to reach out to my Primary Doctor in the morning for his suggestions. I was very weak all day today & had a scary episode tonight when I took my dog out although I was not walking fast. It's crazy that you can go to & PAY a " specialist " & they even acknowledge your health issue but do nothing!!!

My appointment was at 1:45. I didn't get to see the doctor until 3 o'clock and I had been there since 1045 or 1145.

VERY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE! I'm my dad's POA and he wouldn't listen to me about ANYTHING or believe anything I said! He didn't review dads records prior so didn't know anything about him and asked dad a few different times why he was at this appt. Seriously?!! Dad was in the ICU for a few weeks and 1-month checkups were set. Maybe he should read patient records before entering the room. Plus, in the after-visit summary notes it states that he listened to his breath sounds and heart rhythm. He didn't even touch dad let alone listen to anything!!
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR TO ANYONE AND MY DAD DOES NOT WANT TO GO BACK TO HIM!
