Went for a physical and ended up needing labs! I went downstairs to check in and had to wait for Hyde the receptionist to finish talking shit about a coworker, she seen me but turned around to get more words in so I whistled and once she was semi done she checked me in and proceeded to talk MORE and LOUDLY about how poorly a coworker does pertaining to their job and how she wasn't good at it! She was talking about how she's always messing up and MORE, she spoke poorly about the other worker my entire wait time! Even though The coworker she was talking to was visibly showing signs of uninterest as her responses were "umhm and yeah" she not once told her to stop, so receptionist Hyde got to go on and on about someone else's job! Hyde claims she's gonna reach her 1 year mark in 2 weeks.... And I know that because she was comparing herself to the worker she claims isn't good at their job but I wonder how she's been able to get this far in health care with a demeanor and mouth like that! She must not know what the Code of Ethical Conduct is or just doesn't care to abide by it! If she can talk about a coworker in-front of 10+ people what stops her from talking about patients and visitors? I did confront her after my appointment was finished and told her she should probably wait to do that outside of the offices because it's rude and the entire room can hear! she said "ok"! she lacks professionalism and integrity! She was to comfortable sitting at a front desk gossiping about the next person! I shouldn't have had to wait no time for her to do something that isn't in her job description! Do better!
