The doctors here LITERALLY saved my life! I had a heart condition that Aurora completely missed during a month long hospital stay. I was hooked up to telemetry because my heart rate kept spiking. At one point, it jumped to 240 bpm while I was just lying in bed. The nurses didn't even bother to call for a doctor. I went to Cardiology Associates for a second opinion. Once they received my records from Aurora, they quickly determined that I needed IMMEDIATE heart surgery. I was only 28 at the time and very fit. The nurses & doctors were phenomenal when I had my surgery. Overall, the doctors are thorough, they work as a team, they listen to you, and they are significantly better than the Cardiology department at Mayo Clinic!
