Patient
I just found out I'm no longer in his network... and I'm devastated. I'm 48 years old, a Black woman, a mother, someone who has lived and fought through a lot and in all my years across Michigan, Chicago, Indiana, and Wisconsin, I have never had a doctor like Dr. Wilhelmi. He is the first doctor who ever made me feel seen, heard, and understood. He doesn't just respond he responds immediately, with real knowledge and information that actually helps. He listens. He explains. He shows up with compassion and clarity every single time. And when I say I cried... I truly cried. Because when you finally find a doctor who honors your voice, your pain, and your experience especially as a Black woman losing that connection feels like a punch to the chest. Healthcare doesn't always listen to women like me. And that makes this loss even harder. If you are looking for a doctor your whole family can trust, someone who will care for you with skill, empathy, and genuine humanity--this is your person. Your forever doctor. Thank you, Dr. Wilhelmi. For seeing me. For hearing me. For treating me with dignity. For responding with knowledge the moment I needed it. For being the best doctor I've ever had. I pray whoever I get next cares even half as much as you do.
