I truly believe that I am alive today because of Dr Smith and his team. (They put up with me and that is really saying something) I have had a double bypass in 2012. Then in 2013 I had 2 stents. And among many other hospital stays, (I am still here) my open heart stay was the scariest. It turned out just fine because of my doctors. Recently I had to have my aortic heart valve replaced. Dr Smith set me up with Dr Nagy and his team. I couldn't breathe and it got so bad that when I walked across a room I was so winded that I had to sit down. So, at the advice of Dr Richard Smith, at Mon General, I had an artificial valve put in my chest. It's called a TAV-R. I'm doing great now. I could tell many more things but my being here and being able to write this really tells it all. Dr Smith and all of his staph, and that of my hospital, saved my life and I am so appreciative. They are the best team ever!
