I was a patient of Dr. Aktar until she moved and things were great while she was in. I am in between doctors right now and am still getting prescriptions filled here at Mon Gen - I have been trying to get my methotrexate refilled for a month and have left several messages asking when they will fill it (as well as requests for occupation therapy because I ran out), and I have gotten no answers. I'm flaring up again and have no help.
I've been calling this office and leaving messages with the Nurse. No one returns my calls. I can barely get out of bed. The medicine is not working. I loved Dr. Seaman but the staff is another story. I can't do this . I don't know how I'm gonna make it until next Thursday for my appt. It's time for me to move on.
Honestly do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews, they are telling the truth. The doctors are good but they have way too many patients for the few doctors they have and the staff is horribly rude! I called multiple times to get the results if my MRI and did not receive a call until 5 weeks later and it wasn't even from the doctor! It was a note she left because she left town for a month, it's ridiculous, the waiting time is ridiculous, the communication system is ridiculous and the attitude they are showing clients is completely unacceptable for health care professionals. I am in constant pain and have been since I started going here in November 2022!!!! I recommend you travel elsewhere, it's not worth it.
I have been seeing Dr. Gharib for several years & she truly is a great doctor. But since she has moved over to the Mon Gen complex, the office staff lacks any type of knowledge of how to efficiently run an office. If you call there for a prescription refill, you might as well figure that it is not going to happen! I have been trying since April 7, to get my Consentyx refilled, even after calling several times & leaving numerous messages, here it is 1 month later & no script. On April 29, I even left a message on Renee Seamen voice mail and didn't even get a response or call back, & she is the office manager. When you are suffering from any type of autoimmune, you definitely do not need this type of stress. Like I said "Dr. Gharib" is great but I am not sure I will continue at Mon. Gen. Rheumatology because of the lack of efficient staff. Debra Hockenberry
