I arrived at the hospital at approximately 6:30 a.m. seeking care for my eczema condition, which has been causing me significant pain and discomfort. Upon arrival, I expected compassion and professionalism; however, that was not the case. From the very beginning, I sensed a lack of attentiveness and empathy from the staff. The atmosphere felt rushed, and I did not feel valued as a patient. During my visit in the Emergency room department, both the doctor- De La Mant, Mariano MD and the nurse seemed uninterested in my condition or the concerns I expressed. They appeared eager to finish the appointment as quickly as possible, I never got the chance to really express to them my concerns. what is really going on? I also called my dermatologist before this but she is not Accepting new patient's or any for the next two years, Despite that They fully gave me the impression that my health and comfort were not a priority. Their hurried manner and lack of engagement were both unprofessional, unethical and disappointing, especially for someone who came in genuinely seeking relief. I was discharged around 7:20 a.m. and was told my prescription would be sent to my pharmacy. However, when I arrived at Walgreens later that morning, I was informed that no prescription had been received. Throughout the day, I placed three follow-up calls to Mon Health to ensure the prescription had been sent, but each time I was met with unhelpful and dismissive responses. The receptionist I spoke with was especially unprofessional and displayed an unacceptable attitude that lacked both courtesy and empathy. It is now 4:00 p.m., and my prescription still has not been sent to the pharmacy. I continue to be in significant pain and discomfort while waiting for a medication that should have been processed hours ago. This entire experience has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. It is particularly disheartening because I am a former Mon Health employee, and I once believed this organization truly cared for its patients and upheld strong values of compassion and professionalism. Sadly, this encounter has shown me otherwise. I hope this matter is taken seriously, and that steps are taken to ensure no other patient has to experience this level of neglect and unprofessionalism.

Would give 0 stars if possible. If you even remotely value your time, money, and health, don't bother coming here. I'm a college student at WVU and came in for a simple and frequently given health test that should take 48 hours at max to get results from. After my sample had been sent to the lab, I waited the suggested 2 days to hear from the doctor, but to my surprise, there was no call. I called multiple offices, spoke to multiple people, and left multiple messages trying to get through to someone about my test results, as I was still in a lot of pain and left with no treatment or answer of any kind. This happened over 2 months ago now, and I never got a call back. I ended up having to go to my pediatrician in Pittsburgh to get put on prescription and pain medication as my condition had worsened over the time this place refused to answer me. Refusing and failing to communicate with a patient who is obviously in need of help and assistance is bad medicine, and an embarrassment to the huge presence of healthcare networks in the state of WV, especially in the Morgantown area. Not to mention the college kids who come here looking for treatment they cannot get at the student health center or urgent care, just to be met with radio silence on the other end from someone you're supposed to trust. I'm disappointed in this establishment and won't be returning, and I hope this will deter any other potential patients from visiting.

It's taken me over a month to write this because the experience was genuinely traumatizing. I came to this ER pregnant, having neurological side effects from a medication, and they completely neglected me. They forgot I was pregnant, left me in the waiting room without the IV fluids I was supposed to receive, and never checked on my baby. They refused to send me to Labor & Delivery because I "wasn't their maternity patient," which is unacceptable. I asked for both the charge nurse and a patient advocate -- neither ever showed up. When I was finally seen, the nurse slammed IV Benadryl into my IV so fast it felt like my entire body shut down. I suddenly couldn't speak, could barely move, and was unable to communicate at all. Instead of treating that as the medical emergency it was, they put me in a wheelchair and discharged me while I was still essentially immobilized. This was dangerous, negligent care, and no pregnant woman should ever be treated like this. It was downright disgusting, and everyone involved in my "care" that day should lose their licenses for how recklessly they treated a pregnant patient.

I Don't usually make comments on these review sites, but This Hospital deserves Five Stars! I'm located in Fayette County Pennsylvania and most of my life my families surgeries were in multiple Pittsburgh Hospital's...Not anymore after this experience! Recently I had a short procedure at MonHealth Medical Center in Morgantown WV and every experience about it TOPS all of the Pittsburgh Hospitals! The checking in is so organized, the hospitality is so terrific...(I have had six previous surgeries at various hospitals and the MonHealth experience in Morgantown surpassed all of my previous surgical experiences!) This Hospital goes above and beyond at treating their patients like they're important to them! I'm glad that I found Dr. Christina Wilson for my obgyn care and I will focus on doctors associated with MonHealth for any serious future medical needs!
