Mountaineer Cardiology

Don't go to this place. Had heart attack in Pocahontas Co. and was taken to Morgantown and had surgery, I live in the Charleston area and was recommended by life long friends to Mountaineer Cardiology and Dr. James Pettit a person I went to the same High School with. I was rejected as a new patient due they did not preform the surgery, I guess if they don't get the big ticket item surgeries they don't want, need or care about the peanuts or help with the health care of people in need. I highly suggest finding another cardiologist business that really care about the people in need of treatment and not just the money, this tells me a lot about this place and it's people. I give Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown a FIVE STAR rating best ever !

I HIGHLY recommend Dr Pettit & Dr Goad & staff. My husband was first seen by Dr Pettit & then Dr Goad for open heart sugery. Very caring doctors. Explained things very well & listened to all concerns we had. So very thankful to have this team for our care..

RUDE office staff! Called for an appointment, was told it would be 4-6 weeks before they could get me in. Explained that I had a referral from the ER that wanted me seen within a week. The lady told me "if it was really that serious they would have sent a cardiologist to you in the hospital" I will take my heart issues and business somewhere else.

I don't think you could find a more compassionate or caring doctor than Dr. Petit. He is a wonderful person and really cares about his patients well being! I would highly recommend this office!
