Every time I talk to my mom heart doctors nurse Brandy and tell her my mom has dementia she tries to tell me to put my mom on mental meds and says she is mentally ill when she has dementia. A psychologist even said my mom has no mental issues after my sister who use to be my mom's caregiver put her in a mental institution and they forced her on mental medication, which I got her off. My sister tried not to let me get her out this place but couldn't stop me then was hitting our mom up for money after I brought her back to live with me. My mom and her moved numerous times when she lived with her because she has a gambling issue. The heart doctors put my mom on prednisone for her heart which is linked to dementia and memory loss and psychotic episodes. My mom is also allergic to prednisone and the nurse tried to lie and say she wasn't. My mom was put on the lowest dose do to her being allergic to it. My mom won't go to the doctors and this place acts as if I can make her go when I can't. My mom is happy but having dementia makes people not want to go to the doctors.This place is 4 hours away and as her caregiver I only get paid 1 hour a day no where is that saying drive to Spokane when she refuses to go. This place is lame and unprofessional.
