Patient
I was admitted to Providence cardiology Care two times. They were both the most hideous times of my life, and that's saying something. The first time I was admitted with heart failure (Mind you, I am 42 & heavily tattooed) They discharged me as a drug addict Because their sister hospital gave me morphine. I had a psychotic breakdown, They drug tested me and they tossed me out on the street the day After I woke up, telling me that I had broken the rules of the transplant clinic.I was pumping 5% blood volume at the time, full on heart failure. I don't know how I got home. And I don't remember almost 3 months Of my life after that. I got through that all, by myself... that was Dr. Coletti's team, cardiac nurse practitioner, Alyssa Sanquist screamed at me before she discharged me, she told me that I was a waste of time and deserved to be tossed out on the street. Almost exactly what the ICU nurse said to me just the day before. At that time I needed a heart transplant. When she kicked me out, it was as if she was signing my death certificate. I forced to stay under Dr. Coletti's "Care", was the "best". Thank the lord he left. I finally got to go to Dr. Christianson who is incredible. The second time I went in to get my valve replaced. I have a connective tissue disorder that wreaks havoc on my body. I've had a messed up mitral valve since I was a young lady. Dr. Forrester was amazing. The ICU was amazing. But Cardiac floor six north. Oh dear. It was horrible, the nurses were so stressed out that they couldn't assist me to the bathroom, some of them were so stressed out that they spilled their anxieties onto me right after my complication filled heart surgery. I had to baby and encourage the nurses to do their damn job The entire time. With one nurse, I had to practically beg for my pain medication, when she was on the clock, my pain was at its worst. Rest oh, and they used my bed alarm as a restraint. when I would use my call light It would Take up to 2 to 3 hours for a nurse to help me. needless to say I left the hospital with a UTI. Also, my chest tube site had leaked the entire time. All they did was pack it with gauze and tape it up. My entire surgical site was infected by the time I got home. I just spent six weeks in Wound Care (Dayton WA. The best Wound Care In this state) to get that fixed. So I left Providence the last time with a UTI, an infected surgical incision & and a healthy dose of PTSD. Don't go here unless you are under the care of Dr. Christianson and Dr. Forrester. Especially if you're heavily tattooed. Dr. Coletti never Treated me like a human being. It was very scarring having to stay under this abusive doctors care.
