One of the VERY best doctors I have had in my life- great listener, incredibly caring, exceptional and thorough diagnostician and very current on all the research and current/expected standards of care. Despite the punishing pressure in healthcare for quick and targeted help Dr. Demopulos seeks to understand and treat the whole person. A real gift to medicine and patient care!

We've been patient of Dr. Demopulos for over 15 years. During stent placement the coronary artery was perforated by Dr. Demopulos which ended with tampanada. My life was saved with the help of 12 people and second cardiologist. During my stay in cardiology ICU for 3 days , Dr. Demopulos didn't show up to follow up on his patient whom he perforated the main artery. I felt totally abandoned by Dr. Demuopolus and his team. No follow up calls, no follow up directions, no care. During ICU stay the only doctor who come and check was Dr. Petersen. Others Doctors were only writing notes, but not actual care. Swedish cardiology department and cardiology ICU is horrible for parents care and follow up. I want to mention ICU nurses who were doing a great job.

To Dr Demopulos, Over 5 years ago, you got a patient who was a 20 year old junkie, on death's doorstep, who had not long before gotten the boot from another hospital because the staff there decided that she didn't deserve treatment, and who you diagnosed with bacterial endocarditis from heroin use. You did everything you could to save my life and I thank God for you everyday! I have over 5 years clean off heroin, a daughter, a family, and an amazing life because you and the rest of the excellent staff at Swedish Hospital on Cherry Hill, not only saved my life, but also helped me get it back! My husband and i trusted Peter for 21 years, yet he deliberately chose to not disclose that my prosthetic mitral valve was failing. In '15 it was 50% stenosed. I had yearly echoes and pacemaker checks. He always told me my valve and heart were doing great. In 2018 he denied i had a heart attack, so i changed doctors and discovered i was 1-2 wks. away from death - my valve was 60% stenosed. I was saved by docs at UW and a new TAMVR operation. I would have died if i had remmainec w/ Peter.

I just had my first visit with dr demopolus. This is the most care, kindness, and empathy I have received at a doctors office. He explained everything he was thinking, what my current care plan would be, and what we could do if that didn't work. I would highly recommend him.
