I was fitted with a heart monitor, with explicit instructions. I was not to do ANYTHING, don't hike, don't work, don't do anything but stay in a resting state. I did what I was told. I was scared, had been having chest pain with no answers. This is early in the pandemic. I had several seizure type episodes prior, that required EKGs. When I returned for a follow up, I was told that the instructions were wrong. So, with no answers, I made another appt for a physical heart monitoring which would be on a treadmill. Mind you, along with chest pain, I had shortness of breath. I had to get on that treadmill with a mask on... A couple of minutes in, I was panting and gasping for air through the mask. I was so stressed, the nurse who was with the Dr. Julian, told me I could remove the mask.I thanked her. After, the Dr. stopped me, he told me that I only had 3 small episodes, that people my age should be able to go 14 minutes on the treadmill and that my spasms in my chest are probably because of acid reflux. I was spending all my medical insurance to be told in a not so direct way, that he felt I was just lazy and fat. I went to my car and cried. He made me feel insignificant and it has taken me awhile to muster up the courage to say this.

I had a very unexpected need to see a cardiologist, and I chose Dr. Julin, based upon his qualifications, experience, other physicians' ratings, as well as some very good patient reviews. I'm glad I chose Dr. Julin. He is thorough and explains things, and helped me clear up some assumptions that I had made about my condition. Dr. Julin can be brusk, but he is also very clearly a compassionate and caring doctor. I want a doctor who is among the best in the area, and who is looking out for me and my healthy future. For me, that's Dr. Julin. He gave me the knowledge and suggestions to help make that happen.

No one answers the phone I've called several times automatic phone service starts the ring called twice rang for15 minutes each time till I gave up and hung up
