North Island Medical

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a medical clinic. The only one worth anything in this office is Jessica PA. I had surgery at Harborview. Oct 2025. My Surgeon asked them to do a post op check when I called for the appointment they refused said I had to go to Harborview for next 90 days. I told them I had a UTI and they said it was surgery related so call my spine doctor and refused me care. Like I can go to Harborview 1 week after spine surgery for a pee test. Went to Whidbey Health walk in was diagnosed with ESBL UTI- a nasty antibiotic resistant UTI that can kill yyou if left untreated. Whidbey Health was 100% better. The next day North Island submitted my refill prescription of my regular medication not related to my surgery to the wrong address. Still trying to get it filled because it became lost in the mail. Stay away from this clinic. The people running it need therapy and are completely unprofessional.

Worst medical office i have ever been to. Joshua told me that I should not have gone to urgent care or take the antibiotics that urgent care prescribed me, even though i was diagnosed with pneumonia, even though I wasn't able to get an appointment with this office. Then when i needed a prescription refill, the front desk staff told me Joshua would fill it. Turns out he wasn't even there to fill it and was gone for about a month!!! No communication AT ALL, even with me calling to follow up with the request to refill my prescription. THEN, i had 3 different appointments rescheduled with Joshua because he wasnt in the office and the front office kept pushing out the appointments. Yet, i got yelled at by Joshua for going to urgent care to get diagnosed with pneumonia, when he couldnt even keep an appointment, or the office couldn't get me into another provider, even when i asked. I was just told that he would "definitely" be there for the next appointment, which never happened. good thing i decided to switch providers to Anacortes where there is actual communication between my provider and myself, appointments are kept, and medications are filled. Dont waste your time with this office. I got better care and treatment at urgent care than at this office.

A review isn't enough to express my gratitude to Victoria, Jason and NP Boyd. They are my dream team. I leave every interaction with these folks feeling validated and like I have access to real healthcare. Thank you for making all of this a little easier.

I have been being seen at this facility since the Fall of 2024. Everyone there has been extremely nice and professional. My PCM J. and nurse A. went out of their way to diagnose an atrial fibrillation condition I had and the referral specialist T. helped me get a referral to a cardiologist. The receptionist is very nice and helpful too. Five Stars to this group.

I've had some good and some bad experiences over the past 5 years. My primary care physician is Dr. Fisher. He is personable and qualified but trying to make an appointment to see him is difficult. I usually get assigned to a nurse practitioner, some great, some not so good. My last visit was with Jessica - she was one of the great ones. My previous visit was with Joshua - he was one of the not so good ones. I'm 74 and have had some serious medical issues. I would love to talk to my primary care physician but scheduling an appointment usually requires a 2 month wait.
