Providence Heart Institute, Cardiology Center - Clarkston

Everything went very well. From the receptionist to the provider. I forgot the receptionists name but she was nice and efficient. The medical assistant, Star was kind and efficient and fun to talk with she was a few years ahead of my husband and I at the same high school so we all knew some mutual friends. The nurse practioner, Angel was wonderful. Very thorough and didn't let us wonder too far from the exam. I worked with Angel before she was an ARNP so we did a little catching up. She listened to my thoughts on my cardiac condition and changed one of my diuretics to PRN. She also asked my husband how he felt about my health and if he had any concerns. I've never had a provider who did that. It's a great idea since the spouse often notices things the patient doesn't. Overall it was a very good experience.

Provider (Angel D Klippenstein, ARNP) was great. Explained my condition in best way yet. Appreciate her expertise & professionalism. She was a bit surprised that I had been told previously that possible procedures were off the table due to my age (71). So, I'm hoping she can advocate for me if there's anything helpful.

Dr. Jones and his staff are caring, and they listened to all of my questions and concerns. They are committed to your well being. Great group of people who are passionate about your health. Highly recommended.

Very helpful and encouraged make my appointments. Just getting to know everyone. The staff was great. Doctor was pleasant.

The entire staff was fantastic. Katie is amazing. Angel is awesome. But Dr. Jones is the most dismissive, condescending, and unhelpful doctor I've ever seen. Not thorough, doesn't believe or listen to patient, and not inclined to problem solve. Would not recommend Dr. Jones. However, the rest of the staff is lovely.
