Quick Wellness visit. - Dr. Geltzer agreed to fit me in even though i was 15 minutes late. - Answered all my health questions and the upcoming contract negotiations question about United Healthcare.
Staff was professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Geltzer was attentive to my needs, listened well, and answered all of my questions. He gave me a thorough exam and has significant medical knowledge which made me feel very comfortable.
I saw Dr. Geltzer last week regarding complications following my gallbladder removal surgery as my PCP is currently on maternity leave. He was very brusque and dismissive, and when I received concerning results on some lab work, he didn't even bother to try and follow-up with me to discuss, and instead referred me out to specialists who are booked out for months. Well, as it turns out, I'm prediabetic - which I found out myself, after requesting follow-up with Dr. Geltzer multiple times regarding my blood sugar, which he insisted was "normal." I can't in good conscience recommend care from him to anyone - he is negligent at best, and outright dangerous at worst.
