Went today for a stress echo for sudden onset tachycardia. First off, they got me in so fast- my first episode was on Saturday, I saw my PCP yesterday, and first thing this morning they called me with an appointment this afternoon. I was super stressed and nervous but everyone was lovely. I wanted to shout out Rashad in particular, who was an absolute delight of a human and put my anxiety ridden self at ease quickly and with great humor and kindness. Thank you all!
My husband had a heart attack and was taken to UVM medical. He was in ICU then transferred to Miller during his 5 day stay while he had surgery. WOW, what a team they have! I can't put into words the level of excellence they provide. They are meticulous in their care of their patients from beginning to end. Professional, informative, courteous and respectful. Two years ago today I was taken to the UVM Cardiology Unit urgently needing coronary bypass surgery. The team of skilled professionals that provided my care, surgery and recovery process was nothing short of amazing. I am so grateful to each and every person that worked to get me well again! I have been contacting UVM Cardiology for over a week now, with no call back. My father's pacemaker battery is low and needs to be changed. The staff at UVM Medical continue to tell me they are scheduling out into January, UVM Medical Cardiology is the one who put the pacemaker/defibrillator in. It's very frustrating seeing the lack of communication that UVM Medical Cardiology is showing in our time of need.
