Been a patient couple years. Called Thursday the 19th of December 2024 to get a refill on my medication. Talked to a female who took all my information and where to sent meds(pharmacy) and was told it was done. Called pharmacy that afternoon to see if they had received any medication refill. None. Called again that evening to see if it had arrived. Nothing. Called pharmacy again Friday morning nothing . Called Doctors office talked to a male who saw that I had called and put me on hold for 15 minutes. Called back and talked to a Hispanic woman and said she would sent a note to the nurse? I told her that if I don't get any further help I would fire the Doctor for his staff is incompetent and I will look for a new doctor and I wanted all my medical records. Monday I called the office again and told them that I would be coming in to pick up my medical records. An hour later I get a call from a nurse who says me my medication was called in. I told her to late and I would be coming in to pick up my medical records. I went into the Doctor office and was told I could not pick up my medical records with approval? I thought I was the only person who could authorize the release of my records. Then I was told I could not walk in and pick up my records but the can mail then email them but walk in pick was not available. INOVA Doctors may be great but if your support staff sucks the that Dr sucks!
