Dr. Ravi R Iyer

Dr. Iyer has been our primary care physician for over 7 years now. Our experiences have always been superior. He is spot on with his diagnosis and due to his vast experience, he doesn't need to spend too much time with us to take care of our concerns. I am very grateful to him for his compassion and care he provided to my father during his last days. Dr. Iyer did house visits and not sure if he even charged us. He was available on WhatsApp to help during the most difficult times and late nights with advice. My heartfelt thanks to Dr.Iyer for his service.

I should have listened to all the bad reviews. I decided to see him despite the negative comments because he was the nearest option. I made a big mistake by visiting him. I went in for my routine Physical checkup. During the appointment, he spent hardly 1-2 minutes with me and simply ordered Blood work. After 2-3 business days, he called and gave some medications based on my lab results. Since he gave medications, he considered the call as Tele-visit. This is the first time I am seeing a Dr charging to share blood result. He charges for 2 visits no matter . One is for Annual checkup and within 2 days another charge for follow up either tele visit or phone call less than a minute, it does not matter. I had 2 experiences from last year and this year. I am going to change my primary care doctor. I recommend NEVER EVER GO TO DR. IYER

My wife and I have been patients with Dr Iyer for almost a decade. We could not be more pleased. His exams are thorough, his explanations very clear (especially if you ask questions) and he is quick to point out problems. He always calls after an appointment to discuss the results. Obtaining appointments is usually quick and easy. His office staff are very competent and efficient. We moved to Florida about six months ago, but on a visit to Washington were able to get last minute appointments for our physicals. I am a doctor's son who has always been fortunate to have highly competent doctors. Dr. Iyer meets that expectation and I have been very pleased of the quality of specialists he has recommended. For those new to his office, i would have one suggestion. He tends to move quickly and you need to ask questions about any any information you do not understand. Once you ask the question, he slows down immediately and will answer your concerns in great detail. He is a great family doctor.

He didn't want to listen to any of the problems other than what was gathered by Medical assistant. Barely spent 2 minutes to examine and was in a rush to see the other appointments.
