Carilion Clinic Family Medicine - Staunton

I found the facility to be very outdated, uninviting and dirty. This was my first experience with Carillon after being with Augusta Health. My doctor there left so I had to find a new one and thought I'd give them a try. Upon arriving the lobby was dull and and the check in staff was not welcoming. I overheard them say the cleaning staff had not been there in a week and I can attest to that. The nurse however was very nice and I'm still trying to decide if I want to continue with this doctor or keep looking. The bathroom fixtures were old and a light was out. The visit left me feeling like it was a dreary place and that's not the kind of atmosphere I want for medical care. I don't believe anyone enjoys going to the doctor but a bright, clean, modern facility says a lot when you walk in.

I've gone to this practice for almost 20 years and has done nothing but gone downhill. Several times I have had to see more than one provider for an issue because the first one didn't diagnose or treat the issue correctly. They like to hang up the phone on you. The wait time to be seen for your appointment is ridiculous. The staff has been rude to me and several other people I know and they love to lie. The office is severely outdated.

Leigh is the best dr ive ever had. Been seeing her over 11 or 12 years and I trust no one else more with my health.

There are many doctors in the world, and I was patient of a few of them but none can even come close to Dr. Bouldo at the Carillion Clinic. His medical knowledge and level of care is exemplary. My son and I are blessed to be amongst the patients of Dr. Bouldo. He is a blessing and we cannot thank him enough.

I really can't give this place 1 star because of how I was treated by Dr. Bouldo. He spoke to me in a very degrading tone during the whole visit. It was a very traumatizing experience for me and he offered absolutely no help. He spoke to me like I was in boot camp in the military. It was the most horrible experience I have ever had with someone who claims to be a professional. Many things were said that made me feel degraded as a human being. I am 47 years old and a health care professional myself and the way he presented himself to me was absolutely deplorable. I would not under any circumstance put any of my clients through what he mentally put me through during my visit with him. I left the Carilion Clinic in absolute mental distress and I will not be returning. However, the nurses and all staff deserve 5 stars. They were the only positive experience I had while receiving services at this clinic.
