Dr. Jahangiri is awesome! She saved my life a couple of years ago because of her thoroughness in my health evaluation, honest and compassionate approach to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-on treatment. I wouldn't have any other cardiologist!
Unfortunately, this doctor lied about pricing of service and performed procedures under the false pretense that the procedures would be covered. This left me with hundreds of dollars of bills for procedures I was told would be covered. Specifically, I told them I did not authorize anything that wouldn't be covered, they said they would be covered, and that 2 weeks before the procedure they would check with my insurance to determine whether the procedure was covered or not and notify me if it was not fully covered. This didn't happen and after I asked them about why this occurred, I received an ADDITIONAL bill (on top of the several hundred dollar bill I already unexpectedly received); myprivia decided to charge more for the in-office procedure I had already paid. This showed 3 months after the procedure which highlights the predatory practices of this office and the privia medical group in general. Steer clear. Dishonest.
Dr.Jahangiri is a very thorough physician. She treated my father the same way she would treat her own family member. She is compassionate and that was evident during his appointment.
Dr. Arehzo Jahangiri is the cardiologist for my father, and she is perfectly professional, intelligent and thorough along with having a very gracious and caring bedside manner. She is so nice that she even works on her jokes with my dad. In any case, he's doing so well under her care and we wouldn't go anywhere else.
I called to scheduled my appointment yesterday and today by 10:00 am, I was having my consultation with Dr. Jahangiri. Not only that, but the staff is highly trained, and customer service was the best!! Easy check in, snacks and hydration in the waiting area, new office, good vibes, great service all around. I was impressed!!! If you are looking for a specialist in Cardiology, ask your PCP to write you a referral to see Dr. Jahangiri. 10 out of 10.
