LewisGale Physicians Cardiology - Salem

Very disappointing visit, and rude receptionist. Made an appointment for my common issue, upon arriving was told they do not have the equipment to treat my condition. Waited over a week for them to send a referral to another doctor. When calling to check on appointment I was greeted by the rude and short receptionest Jenny. Not a positive experience

Mine was a work-in appointment due to an A-fib situation discovered by another doctor at a Carilion facility (sleep doctor). While my wait time was greater than usual, I was very appreciative of being able to be seen the same day. It was a good visit that resulted in additional tests being ordered & additional medication prescribed.

My first visit with this doctor who was recommended by a friend and I was very pleased with the overall visit. He sat down with me to discuss my current issues, checked my heart with a stethoscope, thoroughly checked my current medication list and found a problem with two medications that I am currently taking. An appointment was made for some additional testing which should help with determining the cause of my current health issue. Very satisfied with this visit, in fact so much that I am changing physicians.

Truly grateful for the excellent medical providers at LewisGale Physicians-Cardiology. Everyone was extremely cooperative, respectful, and genuinely seemed interested in my health. All my questions answered, my concerns acknowledged, and a health plan to fit my needs. Also, information about my visit and tests already on the portal for my review! I highly recommend this office and the exceptional people working here.

Dr Goldsmith has a great bedside manner, and despite having never seen me he had become familiar with my medical records, my objectives, and course of action. Even luckier, was a cancellation uncovered by the "nurse" assistant etc. that allow my test the next day!!! YAY for folks that do a great job!!!
