I have been treating with Dr. Shah at Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists for over a year. He appears to be very skilled, and he is quite thorough. Moreover, he is personable and courteous. His staff adds to a highly professional atmosphere. I recommend this medical group without reservations.
My wife had to get cardiologist clearance e at the last minute for surgery. The folks at Va Cardiology were able to work her in. All the staff were great. Spencer the nurse was very friendly and professional. Dr. Chung was excellent. He was well prepared with my wife's history even though seeing her for the first time. He was very kind to her, asked great questions, listened carefully and answered her questions. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. We were very impressed. Highly recommend them.
I was pleased with how my visit with Dr. Shah went. He made sure all of my questions were answered and all of my concerns assuaged. I didn't feel rushed or hurried. That is, I think, a bit unusual for a specialist. Finally, some of my records had not been sent to him before my appointment. He just now emailed me that he received and reviewed them. Again, very busy specialist, taking the time necessary to make sure nothing is missed. I value that and I recommend him to anyone needing a cardiologist.

I saw PA Parker Jamison on a short notice referral. I had two very worrisome cardiac issues, one discovered the day before by another provider. Parker explained one issue in plain language that it was not really an issue at all. The second long-running issue was addressed exceptionally well, and by that evening, I consider it to be fully resolved. In short, I consider Parker to be a miracle worker, promptly identifying and correcting my issues, all with an outstanding display of knowledge and compassion. THANK YOU Ms Jamison!!! Oh, the office/reception staff was great too!
