I completely beg to differ with any negative reviews of Dr. Shepard. He and the Electrophysiology team at the VCU Pauley Heart Center are the medical professionals I have come to know and trust for chronic atrial fibrillation. Dr. Shepard takes the time to contact me to check on and assess my chronic issues and is skillful and thorough in the operating room. A key question to ask any nurse, or nurse anesthetist is which doctors and surgeons do they prefer to work with. They will tell you, Dr. Shepard.

Dr Shepard was my mothers doctor for heart issues, and provided her with a Zoll life vest.. in the event of an emergency, should've contacted her when her heart rate was spiking to see what was happening. Her life vest started triggering & no nurse checked in or tried to contact her. We reached out to dr shepards office multiple times throughout the day to notify them of what was happening & they NEVER returned the phone calls. I contacted the office after my mother's passing later that day asking for a call back which never happened. They harassed us for the life vest back & swore they would download her results and contact us, never happened once they retrieved it from her deceased body. I also followed up 1 week later asking for a follow up about her and the nurse stated it was scheduled to happen in a few days. Still no call back or response from this doctor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. TRUST THE OTHER REVIEWS !!!

NEVER EVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT HAA ZERO SYMPATHY TOWARD HIS PATIENT. WHY KIND PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR TELL HIS PATIENTS YOU ARE GOING TO DIE SOON. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COST HE WILL SURELY OVERDOSE YOU WITH MEDICATION. HES ALL ABOUT EARNING MONEY FROM THE BIG PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES. I WON'T TRUST ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS ABOUT HIM , IT ALL IS FAKE REVIEWS.

Avoid this Doctor at all cost. Extremely RUDE DOCTOR. Has Zero sympathy for his patients. HIS LICENSE SHOULD BE REVOKED.
