Patient
Because it had been a while since I had an appointment, I called to speak to the nurse practitioner if I should make an appointment after the recent passing of both parents. She put me on hold to talk to Dr Du and she got back on and said she recommended I make an appointment. All the texts and emails came in reminding me of my appointment and the pre appointment paperwork. An hour before my appointment I got a call from the office telling me that Dr Du said she could not see me because it has been 2 years. Policies are in place and that is fine, but A) I called first before making an appointment and scheduled upon her request. B) I received that call an hour before my appointment. C) I was clearly upset at the situation and asked to pass my disappointment on. It's been over a month and not that I was expecting a call, but it is clear they didn't really care as no apologies or accountability on their part. I am just a number. This put a bad taste and I am leaving the practice and not putting my health in their hands.
