One of the best doctors. He was so gentle. He explained everything and made sure we understood everything going forward. Very caring. He really did put patients first. Although the doctor was great but the staffs need to improve, big time. They are the faces of the doctors but didn't do a good job. I feel bad for the doctors. 5 stars for the doctor but not even 1 star for the staffs.

Virginia Cardiovascular Group has been a fantastic experience for our family. The entire team, from the front desk to the clinical staff, is professional, kind, and easy to work with. Everything runs smoothly and the care feels thoughtful and thorough. Dr. Tarek Abou-Ghazala has been looking after my father, and we couldn't ask for a better cardiologist -- he's attentive, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to explain things clearly. His calm and friendly approach makes a real difference, and we truly appreciate the care and commitment he brings to every visit.

This practice needs to hire a different after hours call center. They do not relay messages to the staff. The background noise while talking to an operator is unacceptable. This call center is an embarrassment to the staff of this medical group.

Fantastic practice. Dr. Tarek Ghazala is a compassionate, caring and innovative cardiologist. He listens to his patients, and is able to elicit information from them that they didn't realize they knew. I was hospitalized a while ago on an unrelated matter, and Dr. Ghazala showed up to just check on me. I would heartily recommend him and his practice. His front office staff has been incredible. They have always had time for me. Recently, I needed a surgical clearance, called in on Monday and was worked in on Wednesday! All of the staff has been thoughtful, helpful and listens. They were very helpful in working on my transition to a new doctor in a new locale. An added benefit is that Dr. Ghazala has a dry sense of humor! He recently "saved" me from an unnecessary surgery when he realized that my symptoms were being caused by a medication rather than a condition. I really appreciated that!! Wonderful doctor and great/fantastic supportive staff. Thanks for the great support.

Dr. Ghazala is absolutely amazing, but the staff is not. I had to call at least three times to get an issue resolved. Alex kept forgetting to call me back and each time I called, I had to restate the issue. A few minutes before my follow-up with Dr. Ghazala, I got a call asking me to report on my blood pressure urgently because the doctor was upset that it wasn't already there. Problem is that I was driving home from work and didn't have access to a blood pressure machine and had to scramble to find one in the next ten minutes. I had this appointment on the books for a week and don't understand why it was urgent in half hour before the call. Then I got asked to confirm if I would be joining the call at the exact moment of the start of the call. Awful lot of pressure for a single follow-up!
