MedStar Health: Cardiac Electrophysiology at Reston Town Center

I met Dr Antiga at my follow up visit for a pacemaker insertion. I felt very comfortable with him. He was very knowledgeable and took his time answering questions and never made me feel that he had to rush to see the next patient. His staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My pacemaker was inserted by Dr Strauss and I also felt confident in his skills and I had a very good postoperative outcome. I would recommend both of them to others who need cardiac intervention.

The clinical staff was well organized and very friendly. I had not seen Dr. Shah since 2019. He was well aware of my condition. He was very friendly and made me feel like I was the most important patient in the clinic. Dr. Shah listened to my concerns and reassured me that my condition was not life threatening. He gave me excellent advice on how to control my symptoms as well as advising another professional consultation. I felt that Dr. Shah had all the time in the world to sit and talk to me. He is an extremely compassionate caregiver with an excellent "bedside" manner.

This was my first meeting with Dr. Bora. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, explained everything fully, provided options and answered my questions satisfactorily. Her staff contacted me shortly after my appointment to set up a follow-up. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Vora.

My experience with Dr Shah was incredible. Dr Shah is an extremely dedicated and knowledgeable physician. He cares about his patients and takes the time needed to meet their needs. He is knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and extremely empathetic. He deserves more then five stars! Have and will continue to recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. Atiga has been my electro-physiologist for 21 years. We discussed the continuing success of my Afib-ablation, performed last November. My visits with Dr. Atiga might have ended, as I have had no Afib episodes in 8 months. However, I am gratified in knowing if a need arises to call the good doctor, that he will provide excellent counsel.
