Wonderful hospital!! I had a triple bypass in the Heart Hospital and was there for a week. Very compassionate staff and nurses. Stayed 4 days in Norfolk General for pneumonia 2 months later. Also a wonderful facility! Highly recommend both of them.
I transferred in from the LVAD/transplant clinic at UNC in North Carolina. I must say I am impressed and love my new "home". The only complaint is would have is that when I need to talk with someone after hours, I can only speak with the on-call physician. I'm used to being able to speak with my coordinator at anytime because they are on call.
The des are amazing. The staff at the front desk however.......rude,condescending attitudes. Really we have enough to worry about!
